Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality speciality coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation and serving items as needed. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy setting. A friendly disposition with the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team.
