Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the cafe. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting shortages to management as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to basic math principles. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Effective time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
