We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality products.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers. Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
