Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards. Previous experience in food preparation or barista roles is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues. A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
