We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee shop during busy periods. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Manage cash register operations, including basic maths for accurate transactions. Restock supplies and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly throughout shifts. Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages. Engage with customers to create a positive experience, promoting loyalty and repeat business.

Experience

Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic

food preparation

skills are preferred to assist with light kitchen duties when necessary. Good
