As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your passion for coffee and customer service will help enhance the overall experience of our patrons. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the cafe, ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and handling. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.33-12.52 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
