We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that each drink is crafted to perfection, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food items are prepared according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic maths skills are applied for accurate change. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold the highest standards of food safety throughout all preparation processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: Up to 12.35 per hour
