Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation and presentation, including pastries and light snacks. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the highest quality of service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Ability to prepare food items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. A helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues, fostering a supportive team atmosphere.
