The Restaurant at Warbreck Garden Centre is a 200 seat bistro on the outskirts of Ormskirk, Lancashire, serving great quality food and drink in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience from the moment they enter.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and provide outstanding service.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
