Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Experience in food preparation is advantageous, particularly in a cafe or restaurant environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
