Our well-established brunch cafe is looking for enthusiastic Barista & Till Assistant to join our team!
We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee and delicious brunch dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for individuals who can contribute to our positive vibe and ensure every customer leaves with a smile.
We have both part-time or full-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting Delicious Coffee: Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages (espresso, latte art, pour-overs, etc.) to a high standard, consistently and efficiently.
Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately at the till, process payments, and answer any questions they may have about our menu.
Maintaining High Standards: Ensure the coffee bar and till area are always clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the rest of the cafe team to ensure smooth operations and a great customer experience.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our coffee beans, brewing methods, and food menu to confidently assist customers.
Handling Cash & Card Payments: Accurately manage transactions and balance the till.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience as a barista is highly preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate with a strong desire to learn. Experience with till operation is a plus.
Passion for Coffee: A genuine interest in coffee and a desire to learn and perfect your craft.
Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Team Player: Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous about preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
Under pressure: Ability to handle busy periods calmly and efficiently.
