Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
A passion for coffee and customer service is essential.
