Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about our menu items. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
