Job Overview

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista to join our team. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing great coffee, tea, and light food items. You'll be delivering excellent service, keeping things running smoothly behind the counter, and maintaining food safety standards. This job is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and has good time management skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea drinks to a high standard. Help with food preparation, including pastries and snacks, following food safety rules. Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked. Take customer orders accurately and offer recommendations when needed. Handle cash and card payments confidently. Check stock levels and help with restocking supplies. Work closely with your team to keep things running smoothly during busy times.

Experience

Experience in a cafe or hospitality setting is helpful but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Good time management skills, especially during busy periods. Comfortable handling basic maths for transactions. Enjoys helping people and creating a positive customer experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 7.5 per week
