Job Overview

We are seeking a Barista to join our team, we are a start-up in Cardiff Bay. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of products. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Assist with food serving, including cinnamon buns and bakery goods Manage time effectively to handle peak hours while maintaining quality service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is required. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Effective time management abilities to thrive in a busy cafe setting. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage customers warmly. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 48 per week
