We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink safety and preparation. Duties
Preparation and presentation of food and drink items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Manage inventory levels by assisting with stock control and reporting any shortages or issues to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cafe operations during peak hours.
Skills
Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Barista experience is a preference.
A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
