Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales. Uphold food safety practices throughout all aspects of food handling and preparation.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Experience in food preparation is advantageous, ensuring quality standards are met. Strong time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers with their needs. Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
