Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their selections. Handle food preparation tasks as needed, including baking pastries or preparing snacks. Operate cash registers and manage transactions accurately using basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to create quality beverages. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A friendly and approachable demeanour that enhances the customer experience.
