Please note this will be early evening work & day time on the weekends

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for ensuring that each customer receives exceptional service, contributing to their overall experience in our mobile units. This position requires a passion for coffee & experience using a commerical coffee machine, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Operate cash registers and handle transactions with basic maths skills to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to health and safety regulations in all aspects of food preparation and service.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and an understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A friendly demeanour with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
