Job Summary

Wild & Green Kitchen is an independent coffee shop / bar we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workspace. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance as required. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied when processing payments. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed. Comfortable switching between bar, floor, and back-of-house responsibilities Organised, proactive, and able to take initiative during quiet or busy times A genuine love of coffee, food, and creating a brilliant customer experience A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being able to work independently when necessary.
