Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions using the till system. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, equipment, and utensils, adhering to food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages. Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management to handle peak periods effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
