As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. You will also maintain cleanliness and organisation within the cafe environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment and utensils, to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist customers in selecting beverages and food items, providing recommendations as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic maths skills. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety practices. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively and provide assistance as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a friendly cafe atmosphere.
