Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure a memorable experience.
Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Manage food preparation tasks including food safety practices, food handling, and basic food prep to maintain high quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations during busy hours.
Follow all food industry safety protocols and serve as a role model for excellent customer service.
Skills
Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within a cafe or retail environment.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and serving protocols.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
