Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista is a must experience with a commercial coffee machine Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. Knowledge of using a square terminal machine Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques. Pack up and lock trailer after each shift if I'm unable to make it back in time (will let you know if this is the case and I imagine will be quiet unlikely)
