We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while ensuring quality and presentation.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently, addressing customer inquiries, and handling payments.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.
Uphold policies regarding health and safety regulations.
Experience
Previous barista experience
Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service.
Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
