We are Department of Coffee and Social Affairs. This year we are collaborating with the team at Hampton Court Palace to provide a superior food and beverage experience for their Christmas Ice Skating Rink.

We are currently looking for experienced baristas, front of house staff and supervisors for our Christmas pop-up cafe and bar. We are looking for passionate go-getters, who demonstrate love and knowledge for great coffee and engaging customer service.

We'll be providing warming food and drinks to the skaters visiting the iconic Hampton Court Palace over the festive period, dates of operation are 20th November to 4th January.

Within the job role you can expect to be preparing hot and cold drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, heating and serving food, stocking up and performing housekeeping duties, as well as unloading deliveries, preparation for service and food saftey related tasks.

We are expecting to be super high volume, preparing up to 1000 drinks per day on our Mazzer grinders and La Marzocco Linea PB.

We are searching for experienced and energetic hospitality specialists who are looking for a temporary role over the Christmas period. You will have a great nose for coffee and a passion for providing the highest quality in all aspects of the role. Be an enthusiastic team player, help out in all areas of the shop whilst simultaneously ensuring the quality and consistency of every coffee and cocktail made.

There are full time and part time roles available. This would suit someone who is looking for a temporary role over the Christmas holidays.

THE ROLE

Deliver top rate customer service at all times Be a quality coffee champion Make and serve espresso-based drinks Serve alcoholic drinks and have a good knowledge of bar operations Support the Manager in relation to quality control Support the Manager in relation to stock control Support your colleagues and work in all areas of the shop Contribute to the smooth daily running of the store, including maintenance and cleaning Follow health and safety guidelines.
