We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Prepare or help in food prep/order making in the kitchen following the process when required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. A background in food preparation or barista training is beneficial but not required. Strong time management skills are essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques in beverage preparation is important for success in this role.

Pay: 12.50-12.75 per hour
