Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your knowledge of food safety and preparation, along with your time management skills, will ensure that every customer enjoys their experience at our cafe.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take orders accurately. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and assist where needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A friendly demeanour with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: 11.44-13.36 per hour
