We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including workstations and customer seating. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Help train new staff members in cafe procedures and beverage preparation techniques.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage recipes. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers and colleagues alike.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
