Role Summary

As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a wide range of beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality will ensure that each customer enjoys an outstanding experience, making every visit memorable. We are looking for 1 full-time employee who will work 5 days a week (35hrs).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing assistance as needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management. Occasionally manage the shopfloor and lead the team in the absence of the Cafe Manager.

About you

Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment is essential. Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food safety regulations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding experience for all guests.
