Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is required. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and approachable attitude with a passion for helping others enjoy their coffee experience.

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
