Barista - Nikos Espresso & Sandwich Bar (Bruntsfield, Edinburgh)

We're opening a new location in Bruntsfield and we're looking for Baristas to join our team. We need people who can work well in a busy environment, take pride in what they do, and enjoy serving customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

What you'll be doing:

Making espresso drinks, hot drinks, and preparing food to a consistent standard Greeting and serving customers in a friendly, professional way Keeping the bar, prep areas, and front counter clean and organised Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed Working with the team to keep service running smoothly, especially during busy periods Helping with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stock checks Following food safety and hygiene procedures
What we're looking for:

Someone who is reliable, friendly, and able to stay calm during busy periods Good communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to learn and follow the way we do things A team player who can support colleagues when needed Comfortable standing for long periods Hospitality or coffee experience is helpful but not essential -- we provide full training

Pay: Up to 13.50 per hour
