Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, preparing and serving high-quality beverages while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable skills while earning.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all drinks meet quality standards and presentation guidelines Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other relevant equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in accordance with food safety standards Serve customers with friendliness and professionalism, taking orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as organising baked goods or light snacks

Skills

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage preparation Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is advantageous but not essential Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple orders efficiently Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods Good organisational abilities to keep the workspace clean and well-stocked Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

Pay: 12.21-14.65 per hour
