The post is for an all-rounder who can serve customers, make coffee, clear tables etc and most of all, be awesome!

Barista experience and weekend availability essential

Approx. 30-40 hrs

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using cash handling skills
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the dining area, beverage preparation station, and restrooms
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked

Skills:

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food service industry standards and practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while providing excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Note: Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is required.
