Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, a commitment to quality, and a desire to create a friendly atmosphere for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, engaging with customers, and contributing to a positive community vibe.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and care.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations and sharing knowledge about our coffee offerings.

- Foster a sense of community by creating connections with customers and participating in shop events and activities.

- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods.

- Uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation in all beverages and food items.

- Stay informed about coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product offerings to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Barista is necessary.

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about specialty coffee.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- A sense of humour.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Temp to perm, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
