The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating exceptional coffee beverages and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness are maintained.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order. Adhere to food safety guidelines in all aspects of food preparation and serving. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with basic math skills to ensure accurate billing. Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries or light snacks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
