Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team in Cielo Cafe. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our cafe remains welcoming and organised for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and workstations. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the cafe environment. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Skills

Strong ability to help customers with their orders and preferences, ensuring satisfaction. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to foster a welcoming environment for customers. Barista experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 33 per week
