Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure that every guest leaves with a smile.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Handle customer orders efficiently while providing exceptional service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for payments. Engage with customers, taking the time to understand their preferences and offer recommendations. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing orders accurately. A keen interest in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Pay: 11.44-12.46 per hour
