Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and food preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene practices. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and assist where needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery. A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
