We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to multitask and provide exceptional customer service will be key to ensuring a delightful experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide help where needed.

Requirements

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a coffee shop is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
