Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following proper hygiene practices. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
