Overview

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. Barista experience is essential. Please do not apply if you do not have at least a years experience making and preparing a range of coffees.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee preparation area
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do.

- Prepare and serve food including Panini's, Bagels Breakfasts, Milkshakes and Smoothies
- Assist in managing inventory of coffee and food supplies

-Assist when required in opening and closing procedures.

-Closing procedures require health and safety checks, cleaning the store, purging and cleaning equipment.

Requirements

- Candidate must have at least one years relevant Barista experience
- Experience in food preparation.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently

-Must be available to work weekends Saturday and Sunday
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Helpful attitude towards customers and willingness to work in a team.

- We are a busy coffee shop but we have a lot of fun. The ability to maintain a positive attitude and get on well with team mates while under pressure is a perquisite for the role.

- There is scope to grow into a more senior role for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
