Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to excellent customer service will contribute to our cafe's success.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic maths skills are applied for accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating any needs to management.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is a must A good understanding of food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and inventory management. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
