Job Title: Barista / Front of House

Location: Ginkgo, Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Position: Full-time

Ginkgo is a new independent cafe and eatery nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire. Inspired by nature, seasonality, and global flavours, we serve thoughtful food, exceptional coffee and delicious wine in a warm and relaxing environment. We are seeking a passionate and friendly Barista to join our little team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, cold drinks and alcohol. Maintain a clean and organised coffee station and front-of-house area Engage warmly with customers, offering excellent service Support the team with general cafe duties including food service, restocking, cleaning and clearing tables Assist with opening and closing routines Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks
About You

Previous barista experience ideal Passionate about coffee, good food, and creating a great cafe atmosphere Friendly, calm under pressure, and a true team player Reliable and flexible with availability across weekdays and weekends

Pay: 12.80-13.50 per hour
