We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that the cafe remains a welcoming space for all patrons. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred but can be learned on the job. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
