Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant cafe. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and workstations. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management as needed. Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
