Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining basic math skills for accurate till management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, demonstrating effective time management skills. Stay updated on menu items and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Skills

Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential, showcasing your ability to make good coffee. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proficient in serving techniques and food preparation methods to enhance customer satisfaction. Basic comprehension skills are essential for handling transactions and managing cash registers accurately. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to foster positive interactions with customers and colleagues alike. Pay: 12.60-13.60 per hour
