We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, as well as other menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Experience
Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is an advantage.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments are required.
