Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and assistance with menu selections. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. A keen interest in coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques will be beneficial. Candidates should possess good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 21 per week
