As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is advantageous but not essential. A strong understanding of food safety practices is preferred. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for customers is essential.
